Last weekend I was invited along to the Milton Club in Manchester to try a new night they’ve put on called “limitless”. I went a few months ago for their Cocktail Masterclass and jumped at the opportunity to go again. It was also a great chance to catch up with some of my best blogging pals, Sophie, Lisa, Siobhan and Amber to see what they’d been up to lately.
Limitless is a fantastic idea. For £30 (£20 if you’re a member – you can apply here) from 8-10pm on slected nights, you can come here to start your night on the town, listen to some great music in an amazing atmosphere wilth free flow drinks and canapés. What more could you ask for? It certainly beats drinking lambrini in your bedroom… not that I do that… anymore.
The selection of drinks from their menu is fantastic. You can choose from prosseco, wine, bottled beers and cocktails… even a cup of coffee if you have one too many. (Yes, guilty as charged – I can’t resist a good cuppa though). The canapés on offer too were amazing. There was a huge coice of petit fours, cheeses and other nibbles. All really well made and tasted delicious. Not a soggy vol au vent in sight either.
After filling up on canapés and about five cocktails, three glasses of prosecco and a cup of coffee, we were about to head home when we ran into Ibrahim, our Cocktail Masterclass teacher who gave us a hug and had a little catch up with us. It was a fantastic night, one that I’ll definitely be going to again. I just love the Milton Club, not only is it close to Deansgate train station in Manchester so handy if I want to pop out for a few cheeky ones on a Friday night, but the atmosphere of the place is great too. The staff are so so friendly and willing to have a chat and a laugh with you. I always leave the place feeling like a million dollars.
Limitless is an early evening experience that takes place on Friday and Saturday nights. If you’re looking for a great way to start off your evening before hitting Manchester (Or even stay afterwards for great artists and events) be sure to check out their events page and get your name on the guest list. For £30 you can’t really ask for better… well, you could even sign up as a member and get access to a whole load of other perks too. It’s also an amazing venue for event hire. So if you’re looking for a swanky location to host your party, hen-do or just fancy celebrating go take a look.
